Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between HR Operations and HR Center of Excellence (COE) Managers. Additionally, this role will work on cross-functional enterprise projects including SAP SuccessFactors's projects collaborating with IT, Customer Operations, and other SRP business units. This position is responsible for ensuring that business needs, related to those systems, are clearly understood, documented, and met. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business system users, subject matter experts and technical resources to support business requirement efforts, document functional requirements and design specifications and support development and testing efforts.
What You'll Do
- Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs and challenges of stakeholders to identify solution options and make recommendations.
- Creates requirements and designs which are complete, consistent, concise, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements and performs user acceptance testing
- Conducts meetings and presentations to all levels of stakeholders to share ideas and findings and to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
- Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of requirements, ERP system configurations, job aids, roadmaps, business processes and analytics to continuously improve HR Operation’s strategic and tactical solutions.
- Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and develops optimization strategies.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment and builds strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Technical ability is required to maintain, test, and validate data and system configuration to troubleshoot errors and work with the business, internal support, and vendor teams to propose and implement timely solutions.

Experience
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
