Summary

The PERA Rental Property Coordinator oversees the daily operations for two remote facilities by Roosevelt Lake, which include nine lake house rentals, two clubhouses, a general store and a grill. This role manages reservations, coordinating guest services, ensuring property maintenance, and leading/overseeing staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high occupancy rates. The coordinator is also responsible for scheduling house cleanings, handling elevated customer complaints, and maintaining vendor relationships. This position does not offer a hybrid work environment and requires an onsite-only work schedule. 

What You'll Do

  • 10-15% Reservations Management
    • Ensure accurate and timely communication with guests regarding reservations, payments, and special requests.
    • Monitor availability and maximize occupancy through effective scheduling.
    • Coordinating special events on property
    • Oversee invoicing, payment processing, and financial record-keeping.
  • 10-15% Guest Services
    • Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
    • Address escalated guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure the houses are cleaned and stocked.
  • 30-40% Facility Operations and Retail Sales
    • Oversees daily operations by coordinating and scheduling staff, including property assistant and housekeepers.
    • Manages inventory, transactions through the POS system, and ensures proper food handling practices.
    • Monitor revenue reports, occupancy rates, and financial transactions.
    • Monitor expenses and recommend pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • 25-30% Property Maintenance
    • General landscaping (mowing, trimming, blowing, etc.)
    • Maintain and make sure equipment in houses are in good working condition.
    • Ability to trouble shoot and fix minor issues in houses and common repairs. 
    • Coordinate and schedule vendors for extensive maintenance work.
    • Conduct regular inspections of rental units and common areas to identify safety, maintenance or cleanliness issues.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. 
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
  • Obtain an Arizona Food Handler’s license. 
  • Ability to Ability to trouble shoot and fix minor issues in houses and common repairs. 
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed to accommodate guest and events. 
  • Must reside within a 2-hour travel radius of the Lake Roosevelt properties to ensure accessibility for operational needs and emergency response.

Experience

Minimum 6 years proven experience in property management, preferably in vacation rentals or similar settings. Ability to troubleshoot and fix minor issues in clubhouse and vacation homes. Proficient in property management software and office productivity tools. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Education

A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
