Job Brief

Responsible for the project management of portions of SRP’s Electric Vehicle (EV) strategy and roadmap across the organization to ensure that initiatives across the organization are aligned, coordinated, and executed in a manner that supports SRP’s corporate goals.   Leads and collaborates with other business units, internal stakeholders, and external partners to achieve results.    Supports development of SRP’s EV strategy.  Monitors and analyzes relevant trends, market activities, and leading EV ecosystem practices.  Develops recommendations on strategic issues and strategies for implementation.  Develops and maintains community, industry, and other partner relationships needed to achieve SRP’s EV goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as project manager for SRP’s EV Roadmap, providing leadership and coordination to cross-organization teams responsible for programs and initiatives to ensure scope and schedules remain aligned with overall EV strategy
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to execute SRP’s EV strategy and roadmap
  • Develops recommendations and reports status to leadership, including executive management, as necessary
  • Leads cross-functional teams in addressing specific strategic challenges or initiatives relating to the enablement of EV growth
  • Manages and leads special projects and initiatives as necessary
  • Develops and tracks key strategic indicators for SRP’s EV strategy
  • Monitors industry trends, best practices, and emerging EV technologies and leverages those insights to advise and inform SRP EV strategy and roadmap execution
  • Supports the development of SRP’s EV strategy, based on trends and experience in the EV ecosystem
  • Serves as SRP spokesperson on EV initiatives and technologies when so required.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience

Minimum of 6 years experience in related field.

Additional Information

This position requires knowledge of trends, technologies, and leading practices in the EV charging and utility EV program space. Direct experience is preferred. Above average leadership acumen, communication savvy, and relationship skills are required. Demonstrated experience working across and leading cross-function teams and with external partners is preferred. Has a passion for the role of EV’s in the transition to a low-carbon future.

Hybrid Workplace

 

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
