Job Brief

Our amazing SRP internship program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn our dynamic (utilities or power & water) business. This is an exciting opportunity for a student who truly seeks to work in recruitment and/or human resources. This passionate intern will support our ever-evolving TA operations across a variety of departments.

Job Responsibilities

•    Partner and support our Talent Acquisition team members to learn the “behind the curtains” world of recruiting.
•    Own the process of communication for our TA inbox inquiries, new potential candidates, and various partners. 
•    Be active in the administrative side of TA, understanding its importance as the “One” Talent Acquisition operations.
•    Assist in the process of candidate sourcing, screening, and qualify candidates for open roles.
•    Develop a pipeline of talent by using sources and techniques, such as; posting and active sourcing on various job boards, social media sites, professional networks, etc. 
•    Evaluate potential candidate's profiles by performing initial phone screening assessments. 
•    Assist in the data analytics side of Talent Acquisition, understanding how to measure and achieve success.
•    Be the face of TA through meetings, career fairs, events, etc.
•    This position reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and will be paired with multiple team members throughout the journey.

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Additional Information

This is a paid opportunity for students working at least 20 hours per week.
•    Applicants must be enrolled and attend at least six (6) college credits per semester (100 or higher-level courses).
•    The pay rate is $18.00 per hour for an undergraduate intern and $20.00 per hour for a graduate intern.
•    Tuition Reimbursement ($1,000 per calendar year) after you have reached 6 months of employment, and for classes that have started on or after your first day of employment.
•    SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although part-time teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following several health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
