Job Brief

SRP’s Market Analytics & Performance team focuses on leveraging information and insights to improve our products and services, enhance customer value delivery and the customer experience and inform integrated communications strategies and tactics.

The Digital Analytics Analyst drives improvement in Omni-channel analytics that contributes to decisions across all marketing programming including product/service assortment and optimization, promotions and all other marketing-led strategic development projects. The successful candidate collaborates with the team to analyze the performance of Omni-channel marketing efforts in support of awareness, acquisition, and retention campaigns with a focus on attribution, engagement trends, influencing customer behaviors and campaign effectiveness.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify, develop and monitor KPI’s based on a clear understanding of what drives customer value, including both leading and lagging indicators
  • Analyzes awareness, acquisition, and retention campaign performance effectiveness 
  • Performs Omni-channel analysis of mobile, CIVR, social media, web, email, paid/owned media, direct mail, and survey 
  • Implements single attribution and multi-attribution analysis across all channels 
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting and analyzing online and offline user behavior, campaign performance, pipeline attribution, and conversion rates throughout the customer journey; including recommendations for conversion improvements and/or testing
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to maximize SRP’s product and service offerings, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and business performance 
  • Leveraging segmentation, provide regular analysis and insights back to internal business partners, including recommended strategies for optimizing marketing content, channels, campaigns, and conversion to maximize results with marketing campaigns and program adoption 
  • Generate actionable data to focus marketing spend and help shape our marketing strategies and product and service offerings
  • Collaborate with our web team to ensure the website analytics platform is configured properly to measure performance, driving actionable insights and recommendations to improve website and marketing performance
  • Synthesizes data, insights, customer research to create presentations that make fact-based recommendations 
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams on data and analysis, and train users on reporting tools to enable cross-functional self-service 
  • Responsible for digital data governance and recommending best practices
  • In partnership with Integrated Marketing Communications, lead and execute data analysis projects aimed at growing the engagement of SRP customers and improve their overall experience on all customer interaction platforms
  • Serve as mentor to other team members by openly sharing expertise.
     

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience

Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will possess these capabilities:

  • 3+ years in digital data analysis, including customer journey/funnel metrics or similar role.
  • Experienced in either Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is required
  • Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics certification is preferred 
  • Experience with analytics platform implementations and configuration
  • Search engine optimization experience is desirable
  • Experience with digital data governance and best practices
  • SQL and/or Tableau, Power BI experience is desirable
  • Experience with tag managers, digital media campaign tagging and campaign reporting
  • Strong knowledge base in all facets of web analytics (data capture, measurement, reporting and translation into business and/or behavioral insights)
  • Ability to think strategically, i.e. able to break down vague problems into smaller, concrete questions and deliver recommendations to non-analytical audiences
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, organization and analytical skills; commitment to details with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to thrive in an ever-changing environment and learn business processes quickly as needed
  • Passionate and obsessive about quality, efficiency, and the customer
  • Great interpersonal skills including a positive attitude
