Job Brief

Has overall responsibility for the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) function.  The Manager provides both strategic and tactical leadership in relation to HR technology ensuring enablement and alignment with the broader business, HR and IT initiatives.  


Manage a team in the HR Operations group as well as HR systems production support and governance, business process and technical improvements, Project Management, HR Security / Permissions, Employee data breach process, and Workforce Analytics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage application support for the full Talent Management suit within SuccessFactors. 
  • Manage and/or facilitate application support for HR third party and legacy systems (PERA, Alight, Cority etc.)
  • Responsible for establishing tactical and strategic objectives, goals and priorities to support the HR organizations technical needs.
  • Coordinate and manage the Strategic HR Activities and Resource Planning Governance meetings.
  • Manage HR Systems Governance model that utilizes ServiceNow to scope, screen, track and approve HR System defects and enhancement requests.
  • Responsible for the creation, management, and communication of the HRIT/HRIS technical roadmap in collaboration with strategic business partners.
  • Govern aspects of the interface and integration with other internal systems such as Payroll, Time Systems, Security Systems, Contingent Workforce Systems and Finance & Supply Chain systems.
  • Coordinate Project Management for HR systems, applications, and process changes.
  • Manage the workforce analytics (Human Capital Analytics) function within HR including defining, tracking, and analyzing human capital metrics to drive HR performance and success.
  • Responsible for the adherence of employee PII and PHI data security practices.  Function as the Employee Data Breach Incident Manager.
  • Plans, leads and directs work of staff to ensure goals and objectives are completed on time.
  • Develops and coaches direct reports to maximize their performance and continues their professional development.


Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in an HRIT/HRIS role.
  • Experience in HCM systems that include CORE HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Payroll.
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading teams preferred.
  • Expert program management and consulting skills, including excellent verbal and written communications

Additional Information

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or Information Systems required, Masters preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • HIPAA certified preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in an HR technical support organization.
  • Proven experience with the creation and communication of executive level plans and presentations.
  • Proven experience supporting highly integrated enterprise systems.
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing multiple stakeholders within complex matrixed organization
  • Focuses on optimizing efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and safeguarding system security/data privacy with a commitment to utilizing best practices and overseeing HR Data Security procedures and guidelines.
