Job Brief
The OpenText Enterprise Content Management Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing planning, design, configuration, application training, problem resolution, and support for new and existing content management solutions developed for internal business stakeholders while working in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
Typical duties include:
- Consults with business stakeholders to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, document scope, document metadata, and document access requirements.
- Communicates technical concepts in business terms to all levels of employees and management.
- Defines and designs ECM solutions using SRP's OpenText platform.
- Designs and deploys various types of configuration and application components including, security, workflow/business process components, user interfaces including custom views and active views, OpenText Web Forms, WebReports and LiveReports.
- Develops and maintains operational documentation to support OpenText content solutions.
- Works on enterprise content management projects.
- Provides tier 2 and 3 technical and functional support.
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation.
Education
Experience
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
Additional Information
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in managing and supporting OpenText Content applications and related software
- Experience designing and implementing document management business solutions
- Experience with Content Server solution design and configuration
- Experience developing OpenText Web Forms, WebReports and LiveReports
- Experience using XML, HTML, Javascript, jQuery, and MSSQL a plus
- Experience with SQL Server 2016 or higher
