Job Brief
Responsibilities include the skills to develop procedures that are technically correct and utilize human factoring while incorporating industry best practices. Performs office and/or field technical work and recommends action on plans and procedures. Work involves the application of technical writing knowledge gained through training and experience. Judgment in the execution of assignments is critical. Specific tasks will vary by department and division.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports multiple departments in technical writing expertise for the development and maintenance of procedures.
- Assists in the preparation and analysis of reports and presentations.
- Project leader for projects, scheduling procedure audits and field surveillance visits.
- Primarily responsible for procedure writing and coordination of other SRP groups efforts.
- Provides technical assistance on special projects as required by supervision.
Education
Experience
Prefer an individual with a Procedure Professionals Association (PPA) Writers certification.
Minimum 6 years of related experience required. Promotions are determined by demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by management.
Certification or Testing
Procedure Professionals Association (PPA) Writers certification needs to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
