Job Brief

Serves as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.  Supports continuous improvement of technology and processes. Identifies and defines solutions that will maximize the value delivered by an organization to its stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate, document and communicate client business goals, opportunities, strategies, processes and requirements.
• Work directly with business users to document complex business processes.
• Support the development of new business opportunities and processes. 
• Provide guidance to business clients in defining and understanding business direction and processes within their organization.
• Maintain and share business process knowledge by embracing methods, standards and best practices. 
• Participate in business process management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group.
• Leads discussions and trains practitioners on business process methodologies.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience

Promotion to level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to senior level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Additional Information

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 
    • Ability to work independently or lead a team
    • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
    • Proficient in conducting interviews and in group facilitation of business process modeling sessions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to holistically view end-to-end organizational processes and envision mid and long range strategies to effect the same.
    • Strong client management skills, executive-level communication skills and the ability to structure and scope complex problems
    • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Microsoft Project is beneficial.
    • ProVision experience is preferred.
    • Understanding of process management frameworks and best practices (i.e. APQC, SDLC, DMAIC and BPM).
    • Experience in statistical analysis and/or the application of SixSigma or Lean methodologies
