Job Brief
The role will work with all levels of leadership to integrate technology into the Water Services strategic goals and objectives. Drive the project intake process by collaborating with stakeholders to create business cases that contain sound estimates for resources and project costs. Facilitate multiple tiers governance and adapt commnications based on the audience. Act as liaison in external governance meetings (Corporate ITS & Customer Operations) with a focus on identifying and communicating Water dependencies. Work with Project Managers to maintain the WITS Project SharePoint page. Build and cultivate strong relationships with WITS customers, integration partners and leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Elicits, analyzes, specifies, and validates the business needs of stakeholders.
- Creates documentation ensuring that the requirements and design are complete, consistent, concise, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Conducts internal and external research to gain a better understanding of the project’s subject area.
- Conducts meetings and presentations to all levels of stakeholders to share ideas and findings and to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
- Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
- Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
Education
Experience
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
