Job Brief

Distribution Strategy Development is seeking a senior business analyst to support the strategic planning activities for SRP's distribution system. Assist in the formulation of the strategic direction for SRP's distribution system and associated goals, objectives, and performance indicators. Conducts studies to quantify and enhance process and procedures for efficient operations of the department.
 

Job Responsibilities

•Supports annual strategy activities, including the distribution enablement strategy & roadmap, strategic indicators & metrics monitoring, dashboard development, research & development, and other strategy deliverables.
•Researches and prepares reports/presentations to management that effect business implementation decisions especially around distributed energy resources, distribution enablement, electric vehicles, and other technologies.
•Provides analytical support to the department manager and the management staff.
•Assists department management to develop and implement strategic goals and objectives and to monitor results.
•Executes special tasks or project assignments by management and performs independent analytical studies and evaluations of processes and supporting tools, methods, and technology.
•Maintains working knowledge of corporate and departmental policies and procedures. Has an ability to apply/use tools and technology for the purpose of accomplishing assigned tasks.
•Performs other functions and duties as assigned.

Education

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience

Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determiend by the supervisor.  Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
