Job Brief
Provides technical and business support to an SRP department. This includes support on special cost and efficiency studies within department which requires data collection, compilation, preliminary analysis and presentation. Also responsible for the collection, preparation and presentation of departmental performance measures, such as budget preparation, budget tracking and reconciliation. Acts as a liaison to other SRP service organizations in tracking costs, changes in service and problem resolutions. Performs a variety of miscellaneous business related tasks as an I.S. security officer, responsible for departmental training scheduling and tracking, management of departmental table of organization, etc.
Job Responsibilities
- Collects and prepares data in support of special project assignments for management.
- May monitor and reconcile different activities such as budgets, performance, accounting, costs, etc..
- Develop and presents various reports to management.
- Collects, prepares and presents various departmental performance measures to management.
- May assist in the preparation of FY departmental budgets.
- First contact and liaison to I.S. for software/hardware problem resolution.
- Acts as liaison between department and other service providers, to initiate and track changes in service level and cost in other service groups and departments.
- Acts as computing systems security officer for the department.
- May track and monitor all departmental training and development activities.
- Monitors and tracks TO and prepares and submits to management revised organizational charts.
Education
Experience
At job entry, placement will be determined by a review of college transcripts and related work experience. A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required for the senior level. Once placed into the job family, an employee may become eligible for promotion by demonstrating the ability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by their management and meeting experience requirements.
Additional Information
Confidentiality: Employee will be requried to perform calculations which depict future scenarios, such as budget, staffing levels, pay rates, etc. Budget responsibilities: Budget expenditures. Budget preparation involves critical schedules and deadlines which could require off-hours work. Develop schedule and coordinate changes in services between department and providers such as coordinating NT migration/training between IS and department, or relocation of employees and computing equipment, LAN connections, telephone lines, office equipment, etc.
