Job Brief

Provide accounting and reporting in support of SRP's qualified and non-qualified investment trusts. Provide analytical support of major and ad hoc projects within the Financial Trust & Investments area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reconcile monthly accounting entries for various investment trusts. Process monthly and quarterly service and investment management fees. Prepare and submit biweekly 401k contributions.
  • Work in collaboration with internal and external business partners in preparation of the annual Retirement Plan, Employee's 401k plan and corporate audits. 
  • Prepare monthly investment performance report.  Review trustees' reports on Retirement Plan, Employees' 401k Plan, Nuclear Decommissioning Trust and other investments for accuracy and conformance with internal reporting. 


Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.


At job entry, placement will be determined by a review of college transcripts and related work experience.  A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required for the senior level.  Once placed into the job family, an employee may become eligible for promotion by demonstrating the ability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by their management and meeting experience requirements.

  • Ability to lead/provide accurate and timely reporting.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • Analysts must frequently deal with significant information about the personal financial holdings and status of SRP employees and executives; confidentiality and discretion is essential. Access to the employee payroll system is required, with discretion and confidentiality again being a critical job skill.
  • The analyst is required to interact frequently with finance officials from other utilities, investment consultants and bankers.

Hybrid Workplace


SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
