What You'll Do

  • Become competent in the use of general office productivity software programs including, Microsoft Office Suite, M365, including Teams, SharePoint Online, and Outlook.
  • Provide customer service to internal departments by organizing and cataloging records and performing other records management-related tasks.  
  • Meet with departments to assist in departmental moves for efficient and secure document handling.
  • Assist each department to identify and determine how to handle and process documents that are no longer active.
  • Work with business areas to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate department progress to management.
  • Support The Precisionists, Inc. in their inventory review and validation project.
  • Educate SRP departments on good document handling, information and data management practices.
  • Enable SRP departments to move to new locations successfully from the standpoint of document accessibility, security, and scale.
  • Provide clear and understandable methodology, training, support and guidance through the process
  • Maintain departmental operating procedures.
  • Provide resources to aid in box preparation for disposition, Iron Mountain storage and scanning as needed.
  • Support the RIG Team with other projects and tasks as needed.

What It Takes To Succeed

Hours/Pay Structure/Eligibility:

  • To be eligible for the Student Intern Program at SRP, the employee must be actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours that are college level (100) or above over the course of a regular semester and must be working towards a degree from an accredited college or university.
  • For an accelerated program, the student must be enrolled in six credit hours in the equivalent of a traditional semester.
  • Pay rate is $18.75 per hour for an undergraduate intern and $20.80 per hour for a graduate intern.
  • This is a paid opportunity for a student working a minimum of 15 hours per week. However, work hours and schedules may fluctuate based on departmental needs.

 

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
