Summary

Customer Modernization is the program dedicated to modernizing SRP's customer experience which includes implementing a new Customer Information System (CIS) using SAP Enterprise Platform, and a new Customer Experience Platform using Smart Energy Water (SEW). Supporting systems and business processes will also be included as part of this transformation. Customer Modernization will transform the customer experience for both SRP team members and external customers.

 

As part of the Customer Modernization Program team, this position will support the Business Integration team in preparing impacted SRP team members through the transition.

 

The Business Integration Intern requires someone who is eager to learn and grow within a highly energetic and collaborative team. The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department's needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 29.5 hours per week maximum.

What You'll Do

•            Follow established procedures to review and update key documents including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

•            Use Microsoft Teams, Outlook and SharePoint to schedule and support meetings and events

•            Maintain SharePoint sites with information including text/articles, links, photos and documents

•            Document and manage meeting notes

•            Prepare materials and provide logistical support for events and meetings

•            Review communications and presentations for templates, spelling, grammar, content and tone

•            Track and update rosters, member lists and distribution lists as needed

What It Takes To Succeed

•            Eagerness to learn new tools and business concepts

•            Strong writing skills

•            Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

•            Ability to communicate effectively and actively listen within a team

•            Knowledge of SRP Microsoft Suite

•            Preferred Degree programs include Business Communications, Communications and Marketing, Project/Program Management or Business Management

•            Hybrid Position: must be able to be in the office more than two days during required in-person activities.

 

This is a paid opportunity for a student working 15-29.5 hours per week.

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
