Summary

Responsibilities will focus on providing analysis for SRPs customer population with emphasis on customer segmentation profiles, strategies and data mining. Manage SRPs customer segmentation software tools effectively to provide valuable insights to internal clients. Work with internal clients to develop tracking tools for marketing campaigns. As a senior analyst, must be self-directed, proactive and attentive to satisfying clients requests with quality deliverables.

What You'll Do

  • Builds and maintains a customer segmentation database with a focus on demographic and behavioral variables.
  • Manages relationships with vendors who provide database and software tools for customer segmentation.
  • Lead the development of strategies, procedures and guidelines for utilization of customer segmentation data.
  • Assist internal clients in using segmentation data to meet business objectives.
  • Performs sophisticated data mining for customer segmentation and analysis.
  • Lead all customer segmentation analysis and provide user-friendly reports as requested.
  • Provide quantitative analytic support to Marketing to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic and tactical direction to Marketing based on the blending of analytic campaign tracking and thorough customer data segmentation analysis.

Education

A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Experience

This position may be filled at one of three levels outlined below, based on the candidate’s relevant education, experience, or a combination of both that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and competencies.

 

Level I — Associate: In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4 years may be considered.

Level 2 – Journey: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 6 years may be considered.

Level 3 – Senior: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 9 years may be considered.

 

Eligibility for advancement (progression) to the next level in the same role is based on overall job performance, mastery of all functional responsibilities, and time in position, as assessed by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements and Qualifications

Excellent communication and research skills and expertise in Access/Excel/Word/PowerPoint.  Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with middle, senior, and executive management.  Project work will require project planning and coordination with clients and vendors, overall project management and meeting client expectations.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
