Summary

The Manager of Clean Energy Programs is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and operational performance of SRP’s energy initiatives. This includes programs focused on energy efficiency, electrification, electric vehicle infrastructure, and renewable energy credits, with a strong emphasis on supporting underserved customer segments. The Manager will lead a team of engineers and product managers, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to design, launch, and scale programs that advance SRP’s sustainability goals and enhance customer engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and launch new clean energy pilots and programs aligned with SRP’s strategic objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of clean energy programs to ensure performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to recruit customers and scale program impacts, including targeted outreach to underserved customer segments.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report program performance metrics; identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and manage agreements with third-party program implementation partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to engineers and product managers, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of clean energy initiatives into SRP’s operations.
  • Support innovation by identifying emerging technologies and best practices in energy efficiency, electrification, and EV infrastructure.
  • Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for program success.

Education

A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 11 years may be considered.

Additional Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, electrification, EV infrastructure, and renewable energy programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with program performance reporting.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage vendor/partner agreements effectively.

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
