Summary
The Sr. Application Developer role requires a highly self-motivated individual, who works well in a team-oriented environment, possesses excellent communication and customer service skills and is comfortable working on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in system design, application development and support services for .NET web applications for the Supply and Trading Support Team. a solid background in web-based development utilizing the .NET platform, Angular or Blazor, and SQL Server is also required.
What You'll Do
Primary responsibilities include:
- System design, development, and support for .NET web applications in a Windows Server, SQL Server environment for critical business areas throughout SRP
- Under minimal supervision, works closely with project team members and clients, providing expertise in problem solving and innovation.
- Work with project lead, development team, and solution architect to ensure application design adheres to user interface standards and department best practices
- Work collaboratively with departments to effectively communicate progress and performance
- Applies SRP and IT processes/methods, practices, and techniques to deliver solutions
What It Takes To Succeed
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience with Windows Server Administration
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft development tools especially the .NET Core, .NET Framework, Web API, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Expertise in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
- Understanding of data models and logical databases and their evolution to the physical database design.
- Experience with SharePoint Online
- Experience with JavaScript development frameworks such as Angular JS and Angular
- Experience with PowerBi Business Intelligence Software is a plus
- Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus
- Proficiency in UI/UX design, utilizing tools such as Bootstrap is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft family of products (Word, Excel, Exchange, Active Directory, etc.)
- Complete understanding and application of the Software Development Life Cycle including familiarity with both Waterfall and Iterative development methodologies
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently and deliver high quality results when provided a set of technical requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Clear and effective written/verbal communication skills
Experience
This role is for a Level 3 (Senior), a minimum of five years of related experience is required (if no degree, nine years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling nine years).

Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
