The position requires strong collaboration with counterparts at other utilities and coordination within a matrixed team across multiple SRP departments
What You'll Do
- Lead technology and partner evaluation of nuclear technologies by gathering data from preferred vendors and identifying candidates for inclusion in the Plant Parameter Envelope (PPE) of an Early Site Permit (ESP). - Track developments in the nuclear industry and maintain regular communication with down-selected technology vendors. Establish methods to monitor progress and share updates with internal project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with counterparts at other utilities to share insights, align on best practices, and monitor technology developments.
- Coordinate within SRP’s matrixed team, integrating technical, regulatory, environmental, water, land, transmission and site considerations.

- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Administer and review work performed by consultants, internal staff, and technology developers, including coordination with SRP subject matter experts.

- Mentor less-experienced engineers on technical and project management best practices.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
